What is Pure Pack?

Pure Pack is Epic Medical proprietary technology of manufacturing surgical sutures of immaculate purity.
Polypropylene holder wherein our sutures are packed does not introduce any contamination on suture surface.
All our sutures are manufactured in class ISO 7 clean room, with respect to strict cleaning and gowning protocols. Production personnel is always equipped with clean room polyester overalls, masks and dust-free gloves.

What kind of contamination can be avoided?

Cellulose dust, lacquer particles, dust, production personnel epidermis - all can bee seen with naked eye in case of sutures packed in paper holders.

Why is it important?

Every foreign body introduced into the wound may have negative influence on the healing process. Less contamination means less complications.

Why such approach is exceptional?

There are sutures available on the market, that are not manufactured in such strict conditions. Surprisingly using gloves by personnel involved in direct contact with the suture material is not a standard. Most available sutures are packed in paper cardboard holders.
