How does the manufacturing process influence the final product?

For the suture to be soft and smooth we need to take extreme care to treat it with delicacy during manufacturing and packaging. Unnecessary tension or processing damage the fiber structure and cause easily palpable dents and bents on suture surface. These damages cause tissue trauma, blocking of suture during knot rundown or suture breakage.
